Bojagi for Christmas

While I was passing by Singapore earlier last month, my attention stopped when a lady was wrapping gifts using these beautiful local made scarves.  What a brillant idea to use scarves for wrapping gifts and by the same way, giving two gifts in one since the person keeps the scarf!

I came back to China with a suitcase full of those scarves and this year, for Christmas, my best friends will receive their gifts wrapped in scarves.  I love brilliant concepts!

Bojagi or bo for short (also pojagi or bojaki) is a traditional Korean wrapping cloth. Bojagi are square and can be made from a variety of materials, though silk is common. Embroidered bojagi are known as subo.
