Hipstamatic

What is Hipstamatic you would ask me?  The Hipstamatic application brings back the look, feel, unpredictable beauty, and fun of plastic toy cameras of the past!

The Hipstamatic keeps the the quirks of shooting old school but gives you the ability to swap lenses, film, and flash settings all with the swipe of a finger.

It is like taking a trip back in the past for me, a reminder of the years 1969, going around with my little plastic camera and taking pictures of anything, hoping the development would turn out great…

This photo of white ceramic and glass was taken this morning, using my iPad where the program application Hipstamatic is installed.  This program is mainly for iPhone but my HTC is not taking it, sadly.

There are tons of information on the internet at this moment regarding Hipstamatic and I particularly like to look around on Flickr for ideas and for creations.  Have a look here if you want.  And this gentleman created a chart showing the endless possibilities in photos, using the basic application Hipstamatic.

So I will work with my iPad on this one.  It is not as practical as using an iPhone to carry around and to take pictures but it is an experimental stage at the moment.

I should try to cook or to bake something today and taking photos exclusively using the hipstamatic program, just to see how it would turn out!

See my other post about Hipstamatic, including more photos.
