I always keep a log of unbaked cookies in my freezer, just because I like to bake a fresh batch once in a while and give them all to whom ever happen to be in my pathway that day. That batch of cookies dough was made last Christmas and it can be kept frozen for up to 12 months.
Now, being in the summer season here, I needed some space in my freezer so I decided to remove the 5 logs sitting there, which I had previously shaped into logs and wrapped in plastic. All I had to do, was remove the plastic, heat up the oven and cut the log into perfect little circles. 24 cookies later, here is my cascade of goodness for the office workers tomorrow! It will bring back memory of hometown for sure…
