Kandy handmade soap

On this windy day in Mexico, why not do a windy looking handmade soap… without much of a recipe of course but still…

This recipe will give me : 20oz

16 oz of pork fat

2oz corn oil

2oz of soya oil

2.79 oz of lye

5oz of water

Fragrance oil : patchouli, rose jasmin, lilac

Color : crayola wax crayons , which is wax, water and pigments as ingredients, melted with a bit of oil: colors used:blue, orange and green

Cold process soap, because of the container used (cardboard and hot oven don’t go together…).

I did this soap in a poster cardboard container, round one, lined with freezer paper and I had no difficulty to extract the set soap after.  Site showing how to swirl the colors together.

The smell is overpowering for this one.  I could smell in the house overnight and still…  Any soap made with patchouli just turn me into a tiger it seems…
