I am a big fan when it is time for used books sale. Usually it happens in the fall, when all the new books in public libraries get in the shelves and they need the space.
This year, this Wednesday and Thursday, I will be camping inside the McGill University in Montreal, Canada, lurking, searching and dreaming about books…
I mean, we are talking about a huge collection of used books, ranging from any category you can imagine, not just school books. Since 1971, this voluntary organization has been putting yearly one big used books sale and it is worth a stop if you are in this town.

My first stop will be the cooking section, looking for the rare very old book full of personal notes written on the margin, including a ton of stain on the very worn pages of the cake and dessert section.
My second stop will be, and that one will last the time that the sale will last… the mystery and love section. A good book, no matter what, still a good book to me, if I get hooked within the first 15 pages.
So Montreal, wait for me, I am coming!!!
